Thanks to the generosity of benefactors like you, the Claude Pepper Foundation has been able to carry on the efforts of Senator Pepper through research, public policy initiatives, and humanitarian projects. Your assistance at this time will enable us to continue to advance his ideals.
In appreciation for your donation of $25 or more, you will receive one of the special thank-you gifts from the list below. If do not wish to receive this gift, you may request that the entire amount of your contribution go to support the efforts of the Foundation. This offer applies only to those donations of $25 or more, although the Foundation certainly welcomes contributions in denominations less than $25. In addition to the thank-you gift for each contribution, donors will also receive a subscription to the Pepper Foundation Newsletter and invitations to events and programs.
I don't want the elderly to get the idea that they are "has-beens." I want them to remember that they have the privileges of "will-be's" also. They have done a lot and they can be proud of it, but there's a lot that they can do: public service, helping one another, inventing things and research - just the touching of the lives of the community, the young people and the like. You will be asked to make your selection when you fill out the donor contribution form, on which you will also be asked to indicate the amount of your contribution.

All contributions to the Pepper Foundation are tax-deductible within the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service. Please be advised that the amount of the contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money contributed by the donor over the value of goods or services provided by the Pepper Foundation. You will be notified of the nominal amount of the non-deductible portion of your contribution.
